    Cloudflare with MyGymDesk

Cloudflare and MyGymDesk work together in two places: Cloudflare is a supported DNS host when you point a custom domain at your MyGymDesk sign-up page, and Cloudflare Turnstile blocks bots on your public lead form. One rule matters — set the CNAME record’s proxy status to DNS only.

What you can do with it

Run your sign-up page on your own domain

Instead of sending members to a MyGymDesk URL, point a domain or subdomain you own at your sign-up and booking page, so the address on your posters and bio link is your own.

    Follow a Cloudflare-specific setup guide

The custom-domain screen includes a step-by-step guide for Cloudflare specifically — which record to add, where, and the one proxy setting that has to be changed.

Keep bots out of your leads

Your public lead-capture form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, so automated submissions are filtered before they reach your enquiry list.

Verify the domain without leaving the dashboard

After adding the record at Cloudflare, use the Verify DNS button in MyGymDesk to confirm propagation rather than guessing whether it has taken effect.

    How to set it up

    1. 1Custom domains are a Pro-plan feature (available as an add-on on lower plans). On Pro, open the Self-Serve module and go to its Settings tab.
    2. 2In the Custom Domain section, enter the domain or subdomain you want to use and save it.
    3. 3Wait a few seconds for MyGymDesk to generate the CNAME target for your domain, then copy the exact value shown on screen — it is specific to your gym, so do not use a generic target from another guide.
    4. 4Open the built-in DNS guide and pick Cloudflare to see the steps for your provider.
    5. 5In Cloudflare, log in at dash.cloudflare.com, select your domain, and go to DNS → Records → Add record.
    6. 6Add a CNAME record using the name and target MyGymDesk showed you — and set Proxy status to DNS only (the grey cloud, not the orange one). This is the step that most often goes wrong.
    7. 7Save the record, then return to MyGymDesk and click Verify DNS. Once it verifies, your sign-up page is served on your own domain.
