Request deletion of your data
If you are or were a member of a gym that uses MyGymDesk, you can ask for your personal data to be deleted. You do not need the app or an account to use this page.
Who holds your data
Your gym holds your data and decides what happens to it — it is the data controller (a “data fiduciary” under India’s DPDP Act). MyGymDesk makes the software your gym uses and stores that data on its behalf, as its processor. We do not decide to delete a gym’s member records on our own, so this form sends your request to your gym rather than deleting anything ourselves.
What your gym may hold
Typically your name and contact details, your membership plan and payment history, attendance records, class or personal-training bookings, and any fitness or health details you gave the gym.
What happens after you submit
We record your request and notify your gym straight away, with a copy visible to them inside MyGymDesk so it cannot be lost in an inbox. Your gym then reviews and actions it. Data-protection law expects controllers to respond within their applicable statutory timeframe, and your gym may need to keep some records — for example paid invoices — where the law requires it.
Because your gym carries out the deletion, it is also the fastest place to chase progress. If you cannot reach them, email [email protected] and we will follow it up with them.
Already have the app?
You can file the same request from the member app under Profile → Delete My Data. Signing in there proves who you are, so your gym can act on it without extra checks.
Send your request
Give the phone number or email address your gym has on file. We use it to find which gym holds your record — you do not need to tell us which one, or know anything about how they use MyGymDesk.
Give at least one of phone or email. This is how we identify your gym, so use the details they have on record — if you are a member of more than one gym on MyGymDesk, every one of them is asked.
