Stripe integration for international gyms
MyGymDesk connects your own Stripe account so members pay by card through an inline Embedded Checkout — no redirect. A per-gym webhook activates memberships, class packs and PT, then auto-creates an invoice and sends WhatsApp, email and push receipts. Available on the Pro plan, it charges in your gym’s own currency.
What you can do with it
International gyms collecting card payments in their own currency
Non-India gyms on the Pro plan plug in their own Stripe keys and accept Visa or Mastercard in USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SGD, AUD, CAD or DKK (or INR), with funds settling to their own Stripe account.
Members self-renewing from the member portal
Members renew a membership, top up a class package or buy a PT package by paying inline via Stripe’s Embedded Checkout; on success the plan activates and an invoice and receipt are issued.
Sending Stripe payment links for one-off bills
Generate a Stripe-backed payment link tied to a bill; when it’s paid, the payment is propagated onto that bill and its invoice rather than duplicated.
Selling shop products by card
Member Shop product orders can be paid with Stripe; the order is finalised, a POS invoice is built, stock is decremented and the receipt is delivered through the same path as Razorpay.
Public self-serve signups and trial bookings by card
Prospects on a gym’s self-serve page pay a signup or trial fee by Stripe card; the member is created, the plan activated or trial booked, and an invoice generated.
How to set it up
- 1On the Pro plan (or above), open Settings → Integrations → the ‘Payment Gateway & UPI’ tab.
- 2On the ‘Manual keys’ sub-tab, choose ‘Stripe’ from the gateway dropdown.
- 3Turn on ‘Enable Stripe’, set the Test Mode toggle, and paste your Publishable Key and Secret Key; optionally add an Account ID for Stripe Connect.
- 4Click ‘Test Connection’ to validate the secret key against Stripe.
- 5Click ‘Save Settings’ — the server probes the credentials, encrypts the secret and disables any other active gateway (only one gateway can be active at a time).
- 6Copy the displayed webhook URL into your Stripe Dashboard under Developers → Webhooks and subscribe to checkout.session.completed, payment_intent.succeeded and payment_intent.payment_failed.
