Razorpay integration for Indian gyms
MyGymDesk connects your own Razorpay account so members pay for memberships, renewals, upgrades and class packages online by card, UPI or net banking. Connect in one click via OAuth — no API keys — under Settings, Integrations, Payment Gateway and UPI. Funds settle straight to your bank; MyGymDesk never holds your money or takes a cut. Requires the Pro plan.
What you can do with it
Members renew online, subscriptions activate themselves
A member renews from the member app or a shared link and pays via Razorpay Checkout. MyGymDesk verifies the payment server-side and creates and dates the new subscription automatically — no staff data entry.
Send a payment link to a member or lead
From Billing → Payment Links you generate a Razorpay pay link for a specific amount and send it over WhatsApp or email. Leads — not just members — can be billed this way.
Collect class-package payments online
Members buy a class package through Razorpay Checkout; the right session count and validity are created automatically the moment the payment is captured.
Automatic receipts, invoices and confirmations
Every paid order generates a GST or simple invoice and receipt, then sends the member a WhatsApp receipt with the invoice PDF, an email receipt and a push notification — and alerts the owner too.
No lost payments if a member drops off mid-checkout
A per-gym Razorpay webhook captures the payment even if the member’s browser never returns to confirm, reconciling the order idempotently so nothing double-charges or double-activates.
How to set it up
- 1Make sure you’re on the Pro plan (or have the Payment Gateway & UPI add-on) — on Starter and Growth the payment-gateway settings show a locked Pro card.
- 2In the owner dashboard, open Settings → Integrations → the ‘Payment Gateway & UPI’ tab.
- 3On the ‘Connected account’ tab, click ‘Connect Razorpay’ — you’re redirected to Razorpay’s own secure consent screen to authorise access. This is the recommended path, with no API keys to copy.
- 4Approve on Razorpay’s screen; MyGymDesk brings you back, shows the account as connected, and auto-registers the payment webhook on your Razorpay account.
- 5Legacy alternative (shown only if your gym already saved Razorpay keys): on the ‘Manual keys’ tab, paste your Key ID and Key Secret, pick Test or Live mode, enable Razorpay and save.
- 6Members can now pay for renewals, upgrades and class packages online, with funds settling straight into your own Razorpay account.
