How to set it up
- 1Nothing to set up for basic messaging: every gym is already provisioned on MyGymDesk’s shared WhatsApp number, so transactional messages (signup, payment, expiry, class) send automatically.
- 2Turn individual messages on or off at Settings → Notifications, which shows Email and WhatsApp side-by-side for each event.
- 3To send from your own number, upgrade to the Enterprise plan (Settings → Billing & Plan) — own-number WhatsApp with the 2-way inbox and campaigns is an Enterprise-plan feature, and gyms that already hold the WhatsApp Business Marketing add-on keep it.
- 4Open WhatsApp → Business API in the owner sidebar (owner-only).
- 5Choose a connection method: ‘Standard’ for a new or separate number, or ‘Coexistence’ to keep a number already live in the WhatsApp Business App.
- 6Complete Meta’s Embedded Signup popup — log in with Facebook, pick or create your Meta Business account, and provision the number. No credentials are copied into MyGymDesk.
- 7MyGymDesk auto-registers the number, installs 15 approved templates and subscribes the webhook; send a one-tap test message to confirm it works, then manage templates, inbox, campaigns and analytics from the WhatsApp section.
